Information You Choose to Send
Names Entered in Search Tools
A name or location entered in a search box is transmitted to the outside provider that operates that tool. Umatilla County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's privacy terms control its handling of the query.
Messages Sent to Us
We retain email or contact-form messages as needed to answer them. Message content is not shared beyond our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Details Collected Automatically

- Pages viewed and the time spent on them
- The referring page or site, when supplied
- The date and time of each request
Cookies and Similar Storage
Cookies help measure how visitors move through the site. Most browsers can refuse or delete cookies, though blocking them may change how certain features work.
Reasons We Use Information

Privacy Beyond This Website
Links lead to sheriff and corrections resources, release-record portals, courts, and third-party search services. After a visitor follows a link, the destination's own privacy notice governs the visit.
Some advertising companies may measure activity across more than one site to select ads. That processing occurs on their systems, not on systems operated by Umatilla County Released Inmates.

We do not sell personal information. Data may be handled by these groups when needed for their stated roles:
- Search partners that receive submitted queries

- Law enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order
Reasonable Security Measures
We use ordinary security practices suited to a public website. No system connected to the internet is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Visitors Younger Than Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may contact us and request deletion.
